The cost of your treatment may vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan.

During your visit, we’ll discuss with you the cost of your treatment, send any predeterminations to your dental insurance company, and provide you with detailed estimates so that you are able to make the best choice for you, your smile, and your family.

Our office will file your claim electronically so that you can get your dental benefit as soon as possible.

Our practice accepts cash, debit, VISA, Mastercard, and American Express.   Payment for your dental treatment is expected at the time of service.  If you have dental benefits, we will file your insurance claim electronically on your behalf (if your insurance company is set up to accept it).  If your insurance company still requires you to submit paper claims, we will provide you with the proper paperwork. If under your plan there is a benefit due to you, your insurance company will pay that benefit directly to you.  Generally, through electronic claim submission, you get your insurance cheque or deposit within a few days.

Estimates and Predeterminations

We will provide you with cost estimates for your dental treatment if you desire, and will send a “predetermination” to your dental insurance company to help you get the financial information you need to reach your oral health goals.

Predeterminations are estimates we send to your insurance carrier for suggested treatment, in order for you to receive written confirmation of expected dental benefits for that treatment. The dentist will advise you on the best treatment for you; your insurance company will determine whether that treatment is part of your benefits, not whether it is needed for your oral health. Due to privacy laws, your insurance company DOES NOT contact our office. When you receive a written response from them, contact our office to make arrangements for your dental treatment.
